Show up. Committee meetings are public, and stakeholders who attend regularly can be appointed as voting committee members. Email the committee contact to be added to its notification list, or raise your hand at a general meeting.
Chairs are board members appointed by the Chair of the council. Committees follow the same Brown Act rules as the board: agendas are posted 72 hours in advance and public comment is taken on every item.
