Our liaison to LAPD, schools, parks and local businesses on public safety.
What the committee does
Responsible for monitoring, promoting and advocating for the safe and quiet enjoyment of all stakeholders. The committee serves as liaison to local law enforcement, schools, parks and recreation, and local businesses on matters of public safety and youth development.
Who can take part
Any stakeholder may attend, comment and volunteer. Regular participants may be appointed as voting members of the committee. Meetings follow the Brown Act: agendas are posted at least 72 hours in advance and public comment is taken on every item, limited to two minutes per speaker.
